The primary sector will once again be the protagonist at Centro Fiera Montichiari with the 94th edition of the FAZI Italian Zootechnical Agricultural Fair, scheduled from 21 to 23 October 2022. The 2022 edition will offer a complete exhibition overview of the agricultural supply chain, focusing on the key themes of the agriculture and the challenges facing the sector in the coming years: agro-livestock production, animal welfare, environmental sustainability and energy production.

Animal husbandry is at home in Montichiari. The 94th edition of the FAZI will fall less than three months after the entry into force of the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy. There are many issues that agriculture will have to address, starting with the dynamics related to production. It will be necessary to combine environmental sustainability with the need for greater productivity in the field, also to respond more effectively to the increases in energy and technical means, which are weighing on company budgets. On the other hand, the rush of cereal and oilseed price lists for non self-sufficient farms with the food ration, forced to bear higher production costs, which do not always correspond to market prices in step with the need for profitability, are worrying.
Already today the agricultural system and supply chains are going through phases of tension and uncertainty, accompanied by a worldwide crisis that involves – between the tail of the pandemic and the war in Ukraine – international trade, increasing the risk of famine and tension. in the most fragile areas and putting pressure on farms.
FAZI 2022 will be the occasion for an all-out confrontation for the agricultural world, thanks to a program of conferences and seminars that will involve the highest institutional offices and representative associations of the agricultural and livestock sector.
“FAZI – anticipates the director of Centro Fiera Montichiari, Ezio Zorzi – with an exhibition offer on an area of about 45 thousand square meters and a strong push towards renewable energy, precision agriculture and digital solutions, zootechnics 4.0 , confirms a highly attractive event for agriculture and professional breeding “.
