Two days dedicated to the love of art, with an attentive and involved public, curious to admire works of absolute value up close and explore the new proposals of emerging artists. This, in summary, is the balance sheet of the 2023 edition of EXPOARTE, a market exhibition of modern and contemporary art which, on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 February, returned to the Montichiari Exhibition Center after a few years of hiatus.
There was a remarkable flow of visitors who were able to appreciate the works of seventy selected galleries from all over Italy. Since the preview proposed during the vernissage on Friday, the two installations positioned in the entrance foyer have catalysed the attention: “Omaggio a Colbert” by the Brescian artist Stefano Bombardieri and “Senza pietà” by Johan Friso. Excellent results also for the monographic exhibition entitled “ASVERI 2023“, proposed by the Colossi Arte Contemporanea gallery on the occasion of Gianfranco Asveri‘s 75th birthday.
“We are happy to have proposed an exhibition of excellent quality”, declares Giovanni Zucca, artistic director of EXPOARTE 2023. “Our goal was to offer a satisfying experience for art lovers and collections, thanks to the presence of selected galleries and valuable artists. The first feedback collected during the opening days confirms that it is the right direction.”
“Our exhibition center has a special bond with events dedicated to art”, explains Ezio Zorzi, director of the Montichiari Exhibition Centre. “The return of EXPOARTE Città di Montichiari rewards the work carried out with tenacity in recent years. The appreciation raised by the exhibition among collectors and insiders is a further incentive to continue along this path, in view of the February 2024 edition.”
